A story of integration during our 2014 summer camp
Aimé (“loved” in French) was excited to join our summer camp, but got rebuffed by his fellow pupils. A child with Down syndrom has an uncertain future in Burkina Faso. But thanks to the hard work on awareness performed by our instructor, Aimé got accepted by the other pupils and enjoyed with all of them a great prejudice-free summer.
Dancing was what he most enjoyed doing…. and we also enjoyed watching him so happy each and every day, dancing non-stop.
Thanks to you all for making it possible!
